The car giveaway contest will run from Apr 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM PST – Sep 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST. The secondary prizing will also run from Apr 1, 2026, at 12:00 AM PST – Sep 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM PST, but will have a winner drawn every month.

When will the prizes be drawn?

The grand prize will be drawn on October 14, 2026.

How are the winners notified?
The winners will be notified by BCAA via email or telephone.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. There is one (1) grand prize of a 2026 Toyota C-HR retail value of $44,900 and six (6) secondary prizes to be won, each consisting of a $500 Shell gas gift card, approximate value $500 each, with a collective value of $47,900. To be eligible, all entries must be received by British Columbia Automobile Association between 12:01AM PST on April 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PST. For the grand prize, eligible participants can enter this contest by signing up for a new account on https://www.bcaa.com/automarketplace. For Secondary Prizes, participants may answer the weekly question at www.bcaa.com/CarGiveAway for an opportunity to win one (1) monthly prize consisting of a $500 Shell gas gift card. A new question will be posted each week, and participants may submit an answer each week to receive an additional entry for that month’s prize draw. Alternative entry method available for both BCAA Members and non-Members as described in the Contest Rules. Maximum five (5) entries for the Grand Prize per person including methods of additional entries. Winner must answer a skill testing question. Open to residents of British Columbia and the Yukon who are at least nineteen years old. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
