ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to individuals who are residents of, and are of the age of majority (19
years
old in British Columbia) or older in, British Columbia and the Yukon, excluding: (i) employees, officers and
directors of: the Contest sponsor, British Columbia Automobile Association and its affiliates (together,
“BCAA”), and any advertising and promotion agencies associated with the Contest (collectively, with
their
employees, officers, directors and BCAA, the “Released Parties”); and (ii) any family members of such
employees,
officers and directors with whom they reside.
1. HOW TO ENTER: By entering the Contest, all entrants agree to be bound by and comply with these Contest Rules. All decisions of BCAA with respect to this Contest are final and binding without any right of appeal. All entries and all Release & Waivers provided to BCAA become the property of BCAA.
Grand Prize Entry: Entrants may enter the Contest between 12:00 AM PST on April 1, 2026 and September 30, 2026 (the “Promotion Period”). To enter the Contest, visit: https://www.bcaa.com/automarketplace and sign up for a new account or log in if you already have an account on BCAA Auto Marketplace. Additional Entry Method for the Grand Prize: Entrants may obtain additional entries into the Contest by completing one or more of the following actions. One (1) additional entry for each method below with the maximum of four (4) additional entries to the grand prize: 1. Sharing the Contest: Entrants who share by clicking on the “share button” on the Contest landing page will receive one (1) additional entry. 2. BCAA Membership: Individuals who are verified as a BCAA Member before the contest ends will automatically receive one (1) additional entry. 3. Listing a Vehicle: Participants who creates a vehicle listing during the contest period will receive one (1) additional entry for the Contest. 4. Participation in Secondary Prize Draw: Participants who enter the secondary prize draw once, will receive one (1) additional entry toward the Grand Prize. Second Prize Entry: Entrants may participate in the Secondary Prize draw by answering the weekly question posted on [www.bcaa.com/cargiveaway] during the Contest Period. You must be logged in to BCAA Auto Marketplace to answer the weekly question. Each week, a new question will be published, and entrants must submit an answer through the designated entry form to receive one entry into that week’s Secondary Prize draw. Questions will refresh weekly; entrants may return each week to answer the new question for additional chances to win the monthly Secondary Prize. Entries must comply with all Contest rules and be received before the weekly deadline specified on the entry page. Entry Limit: For the Grand Prize there is a limit of one entry per individual with Four (4) additional entries totalling Five (5) maximum entries. The Secondary Prize allows for weekly entries for each contest period. Entries generated by automated means or which, in the opinion of BCAA, are intended to subvert the entry process, will be void.
2. PRIZES: There are a total of seven (7) prizes to be won: six (6) secondary prizes and one (1) grand prize. The following prizes are available to be won in the Contest: One (1) 2026 Toyota C-HR value at $44,900 and Six (6) prizes, each comprised of one (1) $500 Shell gas gift card. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and have no cash equivalent and are not transferable or refundable except by BCAA which may at its sole discretion substitute any prize for a prize of comparable or greater value. The Grand Prize does not include any costs associated with vehicle registration, licensing, insurance, or any other fees required to legally operate the vehicle. The winner will be solely responsible for paying all such fees, as well as any additional costs not expressly included in the prize description. BCAA does not cover registration fees, insurance premiums, or any other related expenses. Each winner will be responsible for all applicable taxes associated with the acceptance and use of any awarded prize. No substitutions or cash redemptions of any prize are permitted, In the event the specified vehicle is unavailable for any reason beyond BCAA’s control, BCAA reserves the right to award a substitute vehicle of similar nature and equal or greater value. BCAA shall not be required to award more prizes than the number of available prizes as set out in these Contest Rules.
3. FEDERAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE INCENTIVE: By completing an entry an entrant acknowledges and agrees that, as a condition to their qualifying as a winner of the Grand Prize should their entry be drawn in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, their eligible federal electric vehicle incentive, currently offered under the Government of Canada’s Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (the “Incentive”) and valued at up to $5,000, will be applied to the Grand Prize vehicle at the time of delivery, provided the selected entrant meets all eligibility requirements of the Incentive at that time. The selected entrant agrees to complete, sign, and provide all forms, declarations, and other documentation required by the Government of Canada and/or any participating dealer to process and effect the application of the Incentive. The Incentive is administered solely by the Government of Canada and is subject to program terms, eligibility criteria, availability, and change or cancellation without notice. The Incentive will be applied directly to the vehicle and will not be paid out in cash to the entrant. BCAA makes no representation or guarantee regarding the selected entrant’s eligibility for the Incentive beyond its application to the vehicle if the entrant qualifies.
4. SELECTION & NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: Chances of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Winning a prize is contingent upon entrant fulfilling all the requirements of the Contest Rules. A draw to determine the potential winner of the Contest will be held on October 13, 2026. (the “Draw Date”). All eligible entries received by BCAA during the Promotion Period will participate in that draw. The draw will be conducted through a random draw of all eligible entries. Monthly draws of the Secondary Prize will be held on the following dates: Secondary Prize 1 – contest period: April 1, 2026 - April 29, 2026: - Draw to be held on May 5, 2026 Secondary Prize 2 – contest period: April 29, 2026 – June 3, 2026: - Draw to be held on June 9, 2026 Secondary Prize 3 – contest period: June 3, 2026 – July 2, 2026: - Draw to be held on July 7, 2026 Secondary Prize 4 – contest period: July 2, 2026 - July 29, 2026: - Draw to be held on August 4, 2026 Secondary Prize 5 – contest period: July 29, 2026 - August 26, 2026: - Draw to be held on September 1, 2026 Secondary Prize 6 – contest period: August 26, 2026 - September 30, 2026: - Draw to be held on October 6, 2026 Odds of winning will depend on the total number of valid entries received during the Promotion Period. An entrant whose entry is drawn must correctly answer a skill-testing question in order to be eligible to be awarded a prize. The potential winner will be notified by either e-mail or phone at the telephone number and/or by email provided on the entry. If, for any reason, after three (3) attempts it is not possible within a forty-eight (48) hour period to contact a selected entrant, BCAA reserves the right to disqualify that potential entrant and randomly select another entrant for the corresponding prize. If for any reason, any prize is not awarded within three (3) months of the Draw Date, at its discretion, BCAA may decide not to award the prize. Except for the selected entrant, no other entrants will be notified about the results of the Contest.
5. VERIFICATION OF THE SELECTED ENTRANT: A selected entrant whose entry is drawn is not considered a winner of any prize unless and until: the selected entrant’s eligibility has been verified by BCAA; the skill-testing question has been correctly answered by the selected entrant to the satisfaction of BCAA; and the selected entrant executes and returns a Release & Waiver in the form provided by BCAA within ten (10) days of the date it is sent by BCAA to the selected entrant. Non-compliance with the foregoing or with any of these Contest Rules will, at BCAA’s discretion, result in disqualification of the selected entrant and, at BCAA’s sole option, an alternate entrant being selected by another draw. BCAA is not required to inquire into whether the information provided by an entrant on their entry is correct. At its discretion, BCAA may waive the requirement for any entrant to provide any or all of the requested personal information, and may declare any such entry or an entry containing incorrect information to be an eligible entry.
6. INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK: This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook. Each entrant unconditionally and irrevocably release Instagram or Facebook from any damage, loss, claim, action, demand or liability whatsoever suffered as a result of or arising from the entrant’s participation or attempted participation in the Contest, compliance or non-compliance with these Contest Rules, and acceptance, use, misuse or redemption of any prize. Any and all questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed only to BCAA and not to Instagram or Facebook. All entrants must comply with the social media Terms of Use published for Instagram and for Facebook, and are encouraged to review those applicable Terms of Use. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible or liable for the entrant’s use of or inability to use Instagram or Facebook.
7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND RELEASE: The Released Parties are not responsible or liable for: any incorrect or inaccurate information; technical failures; unauthorized human intervention in the entry process; typographical, printing, mechanical, human or other errors or malfunctions; any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt, use or misuse of any prize; or lost, incomplete, late, misdirected, undelivered, stolen, or mutilated entries. Each entrant releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, actions, damages, demands, and liabilities of whatever nature or kind arising out of or in connection with the entrant’s: participation or attempted participation in the Contest, compliance or non-compliance with these Contest Rules, and acceptance, use or misuse of the prizes.

PRIVACY & COMMUNICATIONS: By completing an entry an entrant consents to the collection, use and disclosure of the personal information provided on the entry for the purposes of administering this Contest, as provided for in these Contest Rules and in accordance with BCAA’s Privacy Policy, which is available at www.bcaa.com/legal/privacy-policy. 9. GENERAL: The Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. Any and all disputes arising out of or connected with this Contest shall be resolved individually and exclusively by the Courts of the Province of British Columbia, and the Contest and these Contest Rules shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia. At its sole discretion, BCAA reserves the right to modify these Contest Rules and/or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest without notice.

9. GENERAL: The Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law. Any and all disputes arising out of or connected with this Contest shall be resolved individually and exclusively by the Courts of the Province of British Columbia, and the Contest and these Contest Rules shall be governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia. At its sole discretion, BCAA reserves the right to modify these Contest Rules and/or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest without notice.
