💃 2003 VW PASSAT GLX 4MOTION SEDAN, 4-DOOR, AWD💃🚗
Reliable & well-loved ride! Bought 3 yrs ago for commuting—just city/highway use. Incredible AWD, same system as Audi Quattro. Clean title, no accidents, local vehicle, NOT a rebuild.
Previously owned by a family friend & then a grandmother—both took great care.
🔥All-season tires w/ great tread; front pair replaced 6 mos ago. Driver’s seat warmer, sun roof, black leather interior—no cracks/defects. Exterior is clean with no rust.
This all being said, the car has some deficiencies:
-ABS modulator is not functional. The braking system has no issues, but the ABS modulator is not functional, and the car returns a warning code. This can be fixed for a reasonable price (1-2hrs labour + $150 for the part), but I don't have time to do this before I leave. This is also not a critical system. The car is fully functional without it and you could drive it for the rest of its day without addressing this.
-Minor oil drip—not enough that I have to top up oil or see stains on ground-Rear passenger side electronics are finicky—the window doesn’t roll down and door only unlocks manually.
-Trunk latch is out of sync, trunk closes but doesn’t lock.
My mechanic estimated resale at this price based on the issues listed above—I’m open to offers. This has been a great car for me. I've driven it lightly and would keep it until it's last day but I'm moving out of the country.
